Germany the country we love for there football and beer......
We went to Berlin for a long weekend with a huge group of our mates (the crazy drunken ones). First advice is search your trains first we searched ours to get for the hotel but turns out one of our trains didn't run on a Friday so that confused us trying to work out where to go when none of us understood German other than the word 'Danka' which means thank you.
After that though the weekend was superb, probably at times a bit hard as when your in a large group it's hard deciding where to go or what time to get up and meet as some people want to get out early and make the most of it where as others like there lie ins but we managed.

We stayed in the Radisson Blu hotel which was out of this world. There's even a massive fish tank in the middle of the hotel that has a lift inside of it. Still don't know how we managed to get such a good deal for a hotel like that. If your looking at going definitely search that hotel, plus a lot of things are walking distance.
We love our beer so going to different countries and being able to try different beers is a bonus to us. But if you want a little bit of home definitely go to KilKennys Irish bar, there's entertainment on there every night. Although if Liverpool are playing at home for some reason it's full of Liverpool fans haha.

If there's football playing definitely go visit Hertha Berlin or even just the ground as it held the Olympics and it's incredible.
So many monuments and tourist attractions around the city. The Brandenburg gates are incredible but if you can see it both in the day and a night it looks amazing lit up plus it's not as busy then. And definately go see the bits of the Berlin wall and Cheque Point Charlie.

You should definitely go visit the Concentration camp. It takes about a hour to get there on the train but it's definitely worth it, opens up your eyes to be honest to see how lucky we are. But also how unfortunate others were you hear stories when you learn about the war in school or from your grandparents but you never truly realise how big some of these camps are but also the things some of these people suffer it's so sad. You should definitely live every day to the fullest and appreciate everything.

There's loads of things to do in Berlin the last day a load of us just did our own things before the plane home. But if you have kids there's London dungeons, sea life centre and more.
We love Germany and as its so close for us to get a flight we will always go back. We nearly cancelled on our group of friends due to a sudden tragic death in the family but having such a great group of friends there for us really helped & we're glad we went, we love you guys .
