Auckland, Hobbiton & Waitamo

Auckland - New Zealand
Auckland is very different to Queenstown. Queenstown is so beautiful and peaceful with amazing views. Auckland is more of a city but still lovely we just probably couldn't live here but there's still so much to do.
We jumped off the top of New Zealand's tallest sky jump building which was so much fun you hit the floor in 11 seconds. It's so hard to bend your knees though when your coming down that fast. Alex went first so Ray had no choice but to follow but they both loved it and highly recommend it.
We did a day visiting Hobbiton and Ruakuri Caves. Hobbiton was actually amazing, Ray loves Lord of the rings & The Hobbit and it was actually so good highly recommend it. We even got to go in the Green Dragon pub for a drink and pretend we were in the film. We was meant to go to Waitamo Glow worm caves but when we got there they were flooded so they took us to Ruakuri down the road. Still very amazing got to walk through whole cave and there was thousands of glow worms lit up in the dark amazing!!
Rangitoto Island - we visited here on a boat and then did Volcanic explorer tour. It's so good it's a Dortmund volcano and you can walk to the top. Was so good, a tractor takes you part way then you walk the rest, views there are amazing and all the old lava rocks, never seen anything like it, so cool.
We also did a day shopping and cinema as we need to buy all our winter clothes for our next journeys to Japan and China. Cinemas here are well cheaper than ours.
On our last night here as it was Valentine's Day yesterday we did a cruise ship around Auckland with a candle lit dinner watching the sun set with a few drinks, it was so romantic and beautiful, just finished our time in New Zealand here perfectly.
