Melbourne & The Great Ocean Road

Melbourne is such a beautiful city and it has the best of both worlds the beautiful busy city life or the relaxing beach life so it suits both type of people.
We stayed in St Kilda which is on the beach but the teams are so easy to get back and forth to the city. You just pay 10dollars for a tram card and just top it up when you want to go on a tram.
Our time here:
- Great Ocean Road Experience. We booked a coach trip here instead of driving as we knew the tour guide would know the best places to stop for photos which he did. He was brilliant he showed us different things along the way even where the Bush fires just where. Showed us the best places to get photos we got hundreds of amazing photos. We also see Koalas and parrots in there natural habitats and more. Food was lovely too. It's a very long day but a must see.

- Australia Day. We were here for Australia Day so got to experience all the fireworks, parties, people drinking all day on the beach and more. Our Australia Day was spent on the beach followed by seeing Jimmy Carr at night. We love him at home and he was brilliant still away but I don't think some of the Australians got his jokes.
- Official Neighbours Tour. Alex used to love Neighbours as a kid, Ray for some reason has never seen it. But if you want to visit Ramsey Street definitely book this tour.

- Phillip Island Little Penguins Evening Parade. BRILLIANT!!! You can't take photos of the Penguins but it's incredible you sit and wait next minute there is thousands of penguins coming out of the sea returning home to there baby's with food, it's amazing and so cute.

- Melbourne Tennis Open. The Tennis was on while we were there so we managed to get tickets. We saw Andy Murray win the quarter finals which was brilliant and the tennis was actually fun considering we are football fans, tennis was brilliant. We also seen Jo Konta win the first British woman to make the quarter final since 1983 and now she's in the semis. Go girl!!

There's so much more to see as well as plenty of places to shop, cinema, eat, drink and more. Australia it's been amazing, now for New Zealand.....
