The city that never sleeps.....
Start spreading the news, I'm leaving today, I want to be a part of it, New York, New York.......
New York is definitely in our top 3 destinations in the world so far. We loved it here and there is so much to do you never stop. You actually need a holiday to get over this. We went for Valentines Day & week February 2015 and it was SO COLD!! We even got delayed coming home as the snow was that bad.

We were that busy in New York we even made a rough rota of what we were doing each day, but we actually did even more than this as there's even more to do. We just wanted to make sure we fit all the important stuff in.
Must do:
- Top of the Rock & The Empire State Building. But do one in the day and one at night then you can see New York lit up as well. But don't take selfie sticks your not allowed them up there. But if you have it on you they just put it in a bag after security and you collect it on your way down. The views are amazing though, although the wind was so cold when we went.

- 9/11 memorial site - truly heartbreaking visiting here. Book before you go too it's free but you can pay a donation to the charity which is what we did. I love how after the tragic events of America the people there are stronger than ever together so inspiring, terrorism will never win & we don't give in to terrorists.
-Brooklyn Bridge - Walk over this we only managed half way though as it was that cold.

- Ellis Island - the ferry over to Ellis island to see the Statue of Liberty is a must. We couldn't go inside the statue as it was closed but you get some amazing photos still and the boat ride over you can get good photos of the New York skyline.

- Horse & Carriage around Central Park. Well we had to do this seen as we were there for Valentine's Day. Plus because it was all snowy and cold they've give you a blanket and get all snuggly.....so good.
-Visit Wall Street & The Famous Bull.
-Photos with the LOVE sign.
-Ice Skating in Central park and in front of the rockerfella (depending what time of year you go).
-Broadway - go see a show. we went to see Sister Act when we were there but we booked this when we were there as they have a stand each day and they sell all spare tickets cheaper so queue up there and save money.
-Shopping - Everything is so much cheaper take a empty suitcase and shop till you drop.
If you can do we liked:
-Helicopter Ride- we did a 15 minute helicopter ride over New York it was amazing you could even see parts of the river frozen, highly recommend.

- Basketball game. We saw New York Knicks play in Madison Square Gardens and it was well good. Plus they have loads of celebs that go to watch them.

- Ice Hockey. Truthfully we found the Ice Hockey more entertaining than the basketball. New York Rangers was boss in Madison Square Gardens plus they all beat each other up and only get subbed off for 5 minutes ha. So weird how the night before it was a basketball court and now it's a ice hockey ring.

There is so much more to do as well.
See you soon New York we will never get bored of you....
