In the past 4 days we have lived on Route 66 visiting Fayetteville, Springdale, Catoosa, Tulsa & Oklahoma City.

All these little things you see along the way are amazing, even finding the Irish bar KilKenny that you visited in Berlin or a quick baseball game in Springdale. We stopped in Springdale for the night to break up the journey and there wasnt much there, however the local baseball team were playing. There not as big as the Chicago Cubs but the tickets were really cheap and it was nice to see a team including the locals. The local school all got to sing the national anthem as well as the kids got to go on the baseball field and more, it was nice to see a sport taking a interest in the community, instead of those that do it just to get better feedback in the media.

When we visited the beautiful blue whale at Catoosa it's over 80 foot long but we learned that this man in his late 60s-70s built it for his wife by hand and cement even with alligators in the water around him as he wanted her to have a anniversary gift before he died, that is love & it's amazing. The lady there was very friendly and told us all the stories as well as showed us round, definately worth a visit.

Then as we've traveled down we've seen old Route 66 trains, old roads, bridges, signs, we even signed the Route 66 book and table and more it's amazing here, and even more was travelling on September 11th through America there wasn't one house we passed that didn't have a flag up 🇺🇸 its nice to see a country and people so United.

Today's our last day in Oklahoma before we move on to Texas & visit the ghost town of Route 66 and more.......Bye for now......
