Route 66 Road Trip Continues....
Texola - Here we visited the Ghost Town of Route 66. It actually is scary, no person for miles and miles all we saw was a biker. There are bandoned cars, houses, old petrol stations, a old jail of Route 66 & a tractor which we had to have a go on. Ray even managed to make the tractor to start at one point. Its so quiet there you cant even hear any cars. Feel so sorry for all the people that lived here as soon as the highway was built everyone went past on that and no one came to the town. If you search Texola though apparantly some people do live there but we didnt see any signs of life.

Amarillo - The famous big Texan steakhouse ranch, Mmmm its on the TV program Man Vs Food. Nicest steak ever although how people eat the 72oz steak challenge is beyond me . Oh and they haven't heard of the song is this the way to Amarillo so if you go hear dont sing it you probably will annoy them ha....

Palo Duro Canyon - we drove through the whole canyon & walked bits (until we seen the beware snakes sign ). The view there is amazing, people were even camping, Wow . Scary driving up it (Ray had to drive it ha) as soon as you look down your just on a cliff and could fall off!!

*Texas to Tucumcari* - We visited the famous Cadillac ranch (cars in field) and spray painted our graffiti on & Uncle Den's name for him too (Our Uncle Den always told us it would be his dream to do Route 66, so when we came we had to spray paint his name as a surprise for him and sent him the picture). We also seen the huge legs in a field.....weird. Visited a old Route 66 town where a woman collects a boot off every cowboy and hangs them on her tree.

HALF WAY - We passed the Route 66 half way sign BOOM

This picture is a lie for us though as weve done over 2000 miles so far.
Tucumcari - driving down and visiting cute little old Route 66 town & signs Blog update done. Now we're half way on our way to Albuquerque for 2 nights, this means one thing.......BREAKING BAD TOUR in a RV in the morning
