The country that has its own Portuguese which is actually different to normal Portuguese (Yes we definitely struggled here) *Rio De Janeiro - So we've spent the past 2 weeks staying in Copacabana. 9 nights in a errrr 'average hotel' and 4 amazing nights in a 'royalty never wanted to leave hotel' thanks to Ray Rayy Clercdefinitely a difference between the both howeverboth kept us safe as night. So we had busy days & chilled days here. We did some guided tours (you have to have guided tours here never alone) & we've seen some beautiful sights & some bad. Example of some things we've seen (most photos on our camera sorry): *World Cup Stadium & Home of Flamengos too *Olympics 2016 preparation *Christ The Redeemer (we got up to that and you couldn't see anything down just mist & fog felt like we were in the clouds) *Selaron Staircase so beautiful *The Slums/Favelas - Makes you realise how lucky we are. People built houses on top of houses, some have no water or toilets. Yet they were the friendliest people we met here, they appreciate everything in there life and there so grateful to have one *Sunset Sugarloaf Mountain *A Rainforest (not the Amazon) *Waterfalls *Carnival Outfits, Props & Stages and more......Ps it's really cheap here 80p a pint.

So overall we've been here, it was definitely a 'experience', we both always wanted to come & I always wanted to see the Christ the Redeemer (made up we did) but truthfully I would never ever come back. Unfortunately you can be the safest you can be as advised wear no watches, carry no money or passports etc but sadly violence & robbery takes place here & we unfortunately experienced yet. We were warned, it was scary but thankfully were both now fine. In the words of our parents as long as your okay anything else can always be replaced. I know you could go anywhere and violence can happen and sadly it can ruin the lovely sights but Rio to us was something completely more dangerously different. However still if you ever wanted to come I'd say just a few days & book guided tours, you could see all of the beauty of Rio in 2 days & they are sights you will treasure for ever. Now for our next adventure tomorrow mornings flight for 2 nights seeing the beautiful Iguazzu Falls, bye forever Rio
